Folk Songs for Lonely Tumbleweeds

During the release of a record with my previous band Rocks & Salt, the pandemic hit. I packed up my belongings and my dog and drove off into the unknown, traveling across the country singing troubadour style from South Carolina to California, practicing a repertoire of original songs until I found the right musicians to collaborate with.

I finally found them! Mikey Best (drums), Auggie Gmitter (bass) and Chris Melas (guitar), Julie Adams (Vocals) from Texas along with a broad cast of talented musical characters from New Orleans joined me at Electric Deluxe studios for my next record, Bound to Flood. 

I started touring across the country as a child, traveling abroad with various bands playing violin, singing, and writing songs on acoustic guitar. I released several records with numerous bands over the past two decades whilst extensively touring, supporting acts such as Emmylou Harris, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Lost Dog Street Band. My most recent full length record dropped September 2024 and was featured in Austin Chronicle. I’m incredibly excited to release this red hot brand new swampy bluegrass into the world.
