It’s all about the song. I’ve been following songs from coast to coast and abroad since the early 70s. My songs eventually bought me to the Kerrville Folk festival New Folk contest in 1989. That’s where my songwriter heart cracked open and I began to write songs from a deeper place, from a moving place, a venerable place.
My songs led me to a Nashville publishing deal, where I learned the craft of co-writing and met many inspiring songwriters and a lot more about the art of songwriting.
Mostly it’s my songs reaching folks one heart at a time at shows and radio airplay that have helped me build a modest fan base, helping me fill seats at shows or, joining me to Ireland where I started brining fans on 10 day musical trips, along on guided white water raft trips in ID, and cruises to AK and the Mediterranean.
